Packing just in order to protect the goods once upon a time,is advantageous for the safe transport of goods for goods to the container.Current packaging concept got great development,it not only keep the function of the application,but also has the promotion to goods,enhancing the added value of the goods,and to develop can realize the function of visual communication on the packaging.As essential elements of packaging,colour is the fastest way of spreading information.In The Times of information so developed now,the color much more than the effect of beautification and decoration.It is able to transcend a different language,directly affect the person's physiological and psychological activities.This article from the perspective of value and function orientation of packaging design,this paper expounds the importance of color design in it.By analysing the color characteristics and color design collocation principle,emphasized the importance of the use of color and expression.Based on the current status quo of the pet supplies market in China is analyzed,found that want to stand out in the increasingly competitive market,must pay attention to in using the color design,under the guidance of colour collocation principles for color packaging pet supplies.In this paper,with the authors own dogs for inspiration,the colour packaging based on the theory of pet products design,this paper expounds the importance of color packing and the superiority through practice.
