In the past ten years,the transportation volume and turnover of civil aviation passengers have increased significantly,making the aircraft need to face more complicated flight environment and more frequent flight tasks.Head-up display(HUD)is one of the main display devices in the aircraft,which can reduce the number of times the pilot looks down at the instrument information and improve flight safety.The color adaptive HUD scheme is proposed because the traditional single-color interface has limitations in different environmental backgrounds.In order to better guide the design of color adaptive HUD,this paper mainly studies the influence of color on the performance of dynamic visual search.First of all,this article analyzes the related research of HUD interface color,summarizes the basic theory of color and various color space mathematical models,uses color difference to measure the difference between foreground and background,selects CIELAB color difference formula for subsequent research.Combined with HUD use tasks,analyze the features and elements of dynamic visual search.Then,by conducting two experiments and analyzing the experimental results,the influence of the three factors,hue difference,hue change rate and horizontal movement speed,on dynamic visual search performance is summarized.According to the results,the design guidance for the color adaptive HUD interface is proposed: the selection of the front background hue difference needs to consider the rate of change of the external environment color,and 45 is considered to be a suitable front background hue difference value;The search efficiency can be improved by increasing the front background hue difference value when the external environment changes at a faster rate,increasing the color difference value has limited improvement in search performance;the faster the horizontal movement speed,the higher the response time 。When the target stimulates movement faster,a larger front background color difference can be used to improve search performance.Finally,comparing the search performance results of the color-adaptive HUD interface with the traditional monochrome HUD in real scenes shows that: in the task reading with fast motion changes,the adaptive color HUD visual search performance has more advantages than the monochrome;In general visual search tasks,the performance of the adaptive color HUD interface is comparable to that of the color HSB(120,33%,33%),which is significantly better than the monochrome HUD interface of the color HSB(120,99%,33%).
