Steel cord conveyor belt is a rubber conveyor belt with steel cord as skeleton material.It has many advantages,such as high tensile strength,high friction resistance,strong impact resistance and long service life.It is widely used in coal,mining,port,power,metallurgy,chemical industry and other fields.The joint is the weakest and weakest link of the whole steel cord conveyor belt,and it often occurs the steel cord twitch fault.Because the fault cannot be handled in time and accurately,the accident occurred when the broken belt happened,which seriously affected the safety of production.This dissertation of the finite element analysis of steel cord twitch is carried out by ANSYS software,to clarify the relationship between pulling out displacement and pulling force in the process of steel cord twitch,exploring the law of steel cord twitch.The main research work is as follows:The method of bond-slip of steel cord of steel cord conveyor belt based on ANSYS is put forward.This method divides the finite element analysis process of steel cord twitch into two stages:loading force load and loading displacement load.The model accords well with the experimental results of the universal testing machine,and the correctness and effectiveness of the model are ensured.The entity model of the ST630 type steel cord conveyor belt is established,in which rubber element uses two parameters Mooney-Rivlin model and steel cord uses element SOLID185.The Coulomb iction mode is used to simulate the finite element model of steel cord,and the post processing debugging is carried out.The single and two steel cords,and the steel cord twitch experiments of 50mm,60mm,80mm and 100mm were carried out respectively.The relationship curve of pulling force and pulling displacement under different conditions,axial displacement and axial stress distribution on the contactsurface between rubber and steel cord are obtained.The experimental results show that the trend of the bond-slip curve of the steel cord conveyor belt in the finite clement analysis accords well with the experimental results of the universal testing machine.The maximum elongation at the loading end of the rubber.The maximum axial stress of the rubber and steel cord at the fixed end.The results of this dissertation provide a theoretical basis for safety inspection of steel cord conveyor belt,analysis of joint performance,joint maintenance nnd upgrade,it prolongs service life of not only steel cord conveyor belt but joint,prevent the rupture accident,improve the productive efficiency,and has expansive application prospects.It also provide a certain reference value for design and manufacture of optimization for steel cord conveyor belt joint.
