Research On The Application Of The "curve" Form In The Design Of Interior Space

Interior space modeling is a segment which needs deliberating repeatedly when we are designing.Reasonable and appropriate space modeling elements can not only meet the basicfunctional requirements of space,but also create space artistry.The "curve" form is formallanguage appearing in interior space more and more in recent years,whose diversity anduncertainty of its own shape can endow space with different performance such as stability,poetry or quickness and can give people visual impact and a special sense of spatialexperience.However,its uncertainty will also be lost in space at the same time.Accordingly,we must pay attention to its "degree" when applying the "curve" form as aspace modeling element.This paper mainly explores the specific application of the"curve" form in interior space as a modeling element.This paper is taking the "curve" form as the research object of the interior designmodeling language and deeply analyzing the relationship between the sense of spatial formand human beings and the demands of people for the sense of spatial form.Based on themental and physical demands of human for the "curve" form,it has studied the different form features and performance,and the relationship between the "curve" form and humanand space to further sum up the indoor modeling techniques of the "curve" form.Whilesolving the original drawbacks of the design works taking the "curve" form as modelinglanguage,it spares no effort to seek for rational and economic modeling techniques of the"curve" form in the interior space.There are seven parts consisting of this paper.The first part is the research backgroundand research basis.The second and third parts is the arrangement of basic data,whichmainly analyze and summarize the existing necessity of the "curve" form as a spatialmodeling element and the feelings of "advocating curve" in east and western aesthetics,aswell illustrate the development and application on the "curve" form in history.The fourthpart divides the "curve" form into geometrics and the free "curve" form according to its characteristic differences and carries out a detailed analysis and study,summing up theapplication of the different manifestation patterns in the "curve" space such as line,surfaceand body,etc..The fifth part mainly analyzes the logic relation between the "curve" formand human,space spatially.From the perspective of materials,the sixth part studies how toimplement the "curve" with different forms into space,together with the basic requirements of the "curve" form for materials.The final part summarizes the modeling techniques of the "curve" form in space relying on above research.I hope that through research in this paper,new thinking way and design techniques can be put forward for the application of the "curve" form in interior design to find out the "curve" form that can be utilized reasonably in interior space,which can provides a useful reference for the interior design work in the future.
