The whole society is becoming much more aware of the significance of the theory of Ecology. With no doubt, Ecology has great influences upon other sciences. Researchers and architects are also beginning to learn and absorb the value of it. Nowadays its concepts are applied not only in city planning and landscape design, but also in residential districts'development and projects of single buildings.This dissertation attempts to analyze the relationship between Interior Environment Control and Spatial Form in Architecture, which is based on ecological studies.Space is the basic issue of Architecture. Once designed or established, a building will have a physical form. On the one hand, different design regulations determine different ecological principles and environment-control strategies, the interior parts of which directly affect the form of the building. On the other hand, the design of space will also change the techniques of the environment-control. These two issues relate to each other, balance each other, and combine each other.Firstly, the author analyzes a large amount of projects from European and Asian countries. The properties and ecological functions are the main issues. Secondly, it is concluded that the"Stack Space", which has lighting and ventilation controlling functions, is the result of the whole research. At the end of the book, the author puts the new theories into practice to offer an optimized design of Data Processing Center of Handan Local Taxation Bureau.
