With the background of the National Science and Technology major projects "the generic technology of rolling functional unit for high-grade CNC machine tools",this paper is based on the reliability of linear guides and try to find the index of it.Design the reliability,accelerated and acceptance tests and do evaluation of the results.Set up a complete process of reliability and accelered test,the analysis for roller linear guides is established and the feasibility is verified,which provides the basis for such research.Introduce the reliability test bed,the stress,the environment and maintenance condition,then set up the section of the test.Select the guides,then set up environmental and screening tests before the main tests.Summarize the method of tests for roller linear guides and start the tests.Use accelerated test methods to set up acceptance test with different levels of risk.Provides the test methods for improving the reliability level of roller linear guides.On the basis of the results,try to dig on the MTBF index according to the different faults cases.Do fault-free evaluation for the quality level of the guides and do analysis for the level of reliability differences between domestic and foreign guides.Then select the accelerate case and do research of failure samples and fault data,then estimate the reliability and life level.Improve the experimental evaluation system,which has strong significance of engineering.
