Rail wear detection includes rail profile detection,rail surface wear defect detection and wear location.At present,the method of rail wear detection based on machine vision and the wear localization method based on GPS are the advanced methods recognized by the industry.To ensure the stability of laser camera axis is the key to ensure the accuracy of machine vision detection method.Meanwhile,the geographic information of wear points is the core parameter to control the starting and ending of sanding.Therefore,how to realize the stability of laser camera axis and wear precise positioning is an important research topic in the field of rail grinding repair.This paper mainly studies the key techniques for the stability of laser camera axis and precise positioning of rail wear.In the research of laser camera stabilization system,a new method based on inertial stabilization platform to realize camera stabilization is proposed.A single axis stable platform structure is designed to fix the camera on the platform.This paper used neural network PID adaptive control algorithm to implement the stability control of the platform.The simulation results of Simulink show that the laser camera can maintain stability under the condition of detecting vehicle vibration.In the study of rail wear localization,the advantages and disadvantages of the existing wear localization methods are compared.This paper used the low cost GPS differential positioning technology and developed a rail abrasion location system based on reference station,mobile station and embedded system.The experimental data show that the positioning accuracy meets the system requirements and low cost GPS differential positioning for rail wear has been implemented.The research work of this paper provides new ideas and methods for resolving the problem of stability of laser camera axis and the paper realizes the low cost GPS differential precise positioning of rail wear.It has made valuable exploration for rail wear detection work,and laid a good foundation for subsequent research work.
