With the acceleration of China’s socialism modernization, the people’s demand onworking and living conditions is getting higher and higher. As a kind of engineeringmachinery, loader plays an essential role in highway construction, site construction, railway construction, tunnels, mines, bridges, ports etc. Loaders sales and usage isincreasing. Loader transmission power rely on the pin mainly in the process of work. The working environment and friction pair sealing condition of pin is very execrablewhat make pin become one of the important wearing parts. The clearance of frictionpair will increase after wear and the work efficiency and safety of pin are reduced.Failure of the pin shaft disassemble difficult and change frequently. In order to reducewear and increase the life of the pin, this paper mainly make a research from wear test, finite element simulation, pin wear mechanism and wear factors analysis, the maincontent of this research is as follows:Firstly, Loader pin wear are analyzed in this paper. Making a geometry analysis, calculation, verification for contact arc length and area of pin. Applying iron spectrumanalysis technique which belongs to the oil analysis technology to monitoring thewear condition of pins without disassembly. Conclusion corresponding relationsbetween abrasive information and wear stage.Secondly, pin working force was analyzed and calculated. According to the resultsof the actual contact analysis, Using finite element analysis software ANSYS tosimulate the thermal field distribution of working pin and verify the rationality of theresults through experiment. Then put the temperature field and force field as load onthe pin, getting the maximum stress and deformation under the thermo-mechanicalcoupling effects through ANSYS.Finally, The paper further research the main factors which influence the pin shaftwear and tear. Analysis the process of the pin shaft wear and the wear mechanism ofthe entire life cycle. Through design friction experiment to get the friction coefficient curve under the influence of different experimental conditions. Then observe themorphology of grinding crack by scanning electron microscope, Indicates that thefactors affecting pin wear. And then put forward measures and suggestions about wearantifriction and increasing pin life to influence factors, for the purpose of savingresource and energy.
