Research And Application Of Product Parallel Folding Structure

As a kind of technical aesthetics category,fold exists in the product design,which can not only meets the needs of the consumers,but also reflects the beauty of the product structure.As one kind of the folding structure,parallel folding structure has its unique aesthetic and functional characteristics.This paper mainly studies the parallel folded structure from the angles of design art,philosophy,psychology and material science.First of all,this study sorts out the concept and characteristics of folded,then mainly analyse of the influence by traditional aesthetic concept and the natural form,as well as the relationship between the structure and the material,the form as well as the function.Then,through the way of kansei engineering and questionnaire investigation,this paper will analyze the consumer demand and market potential of the folding structure.Meanwhile,classification the kind of parallel folding products on the basis of collecting a large number of it,select the typical representative of each category and research on it,to establish the emotional theory system of the parallel folding structure,including the relationship between different types and different surface texture of the same type with consumer emotion,to provide guidance for the emotional design of the product.Finally,through the form of thematic practice,this study will do design based on the theory presented in this paper,and make reverse validation between the design and its similar products.
