Preliminary Study On The Application Of Edible Landscape Based On "slow Foodism" In Urban Space

Thanks to the rapid development of our society, the pace of urbanization has been fasten. The landscape of city is not only confined to the range of traditional ornament, and the edible landscape is a new direction of the development. Based on the urban agriculture, edible landscape, applied in different urban space, is a new urban landscape that can both be edible and be watched. The application space of edible landscape in urban city can be divided into ground and non ground space. And its function, except the function of traditional urban landscape, includes supporting cities, relieving the energy crisis, food crisis, and promoting people to form a healthy lifestyle and concept, etc. Therefore, the application of edible landscape in urban space can promote the sustainable construction of city, which is of epoch-making significance.In this paper, the content, divided into three parts, are as follows. (1) background analysis: first, summarize and analyze the background, research purpose,significance, research contents, research trends, research methods of the thesis through the introduction. Then, clarify the theory of the edible landscape at present, and make the analysis from modern theory support, contemporary theory and design. (2) the analysis of application feasibility:this paper starts from the form of case analysis and research. First of all, take New York as an example, analyze the application of the edible landscape by analyzing the background of the development of edible landscape of New York, the present situation of the application of edible landscape in New York, the feasibility of the application of edible landscape in urban space. Second, conduct a field research in Chengdu, take several kind of common urban space as an example, and investigate the application of the edible landscape and people's acceptance about edible landscape in Chengdu, and based on the above conclusions of Chengdu urban space application edible landscape system analysis based on the SWOT edible feasibility analysis of landscape application in chengdu. Finally, make an organic combination of New York and Chengdu in terms of the feasibility and methods of edible landscape in application, and extract the common space characteristics of metropolitan, analysis the successful application methods of edible landscape, and provide reference for the development of edible landscape in urban space. (3)solve problems, and put forward methods:explore the application methods of edible landscape and verify,analyze and solve the existing problems in the development of edible landscape. First of all, classify the urban space, and put forward the integration steps and integration mode of edible landscape in different types of space; Second, systematically state the related techniques of the choice, landscape and application of edible landscape; Finally, the paper puts forward the different types of edible landscape in urban space design and the application method.Through the research, the conclusions are mainly drawn as follows:(1) first of all, by analyzing the application of the New York edible landscape application,we can know that even in the highly urbanization cities,as long as we plan reasonably,there is still plenty of application space of edible landscape. Second, according to the research, the residents in Chengdu highly accept the application of edible landscape in the city, as well as the huge potential of application of edible landscape. According to the above two points, edible landscape in urban space is feasible for application. (2) Propose methods of edible landscape in urban space application. First of all, categorizing the urban space, and putting forward protection for different types of space, replacement, filling, refactoring four edible landscape and the integration of original space model; Secondly, this paper expounds the selection and application methods of edible plants; Finally, the urban space is divided into two major categories of ground space and non ground space. According to these two types urban space, this paper will subdivide the space into park space, community space, banded space, ancillary space, free space, roof space, vertical space, and put forward different space landscape design and application methods in terms of different space.
