Because of the widely use of AC voltage in power applications, requirement for high-precision AC signal have been proposed in scientific experiments and industrial production. At the same time, the AC voltage as an important parameter in professional electrical measurement, characterization and precision calibration also become an urgent task in electricity metering. In this paper, based on the Josephson effect arbitrary waveform synthesis technology, to explore and to build an AC voltage calibration system. Compared to a programmable Josephson voltage reference, the drive pulse waveform synthesis techniques arbitrary waveform having a high signal frequency, amplitude, and calculate the advantages of lower uncertainty. Firstly, the traditional design of high-precision DAC arbitrary waveform generator to generate high-frequency waveform signal amplitude can be accurately calculated, and the analysis of the traditional progressive approximation sinusoidal waveform characteristics. Secondly, by impedance matching the pulse-driven arbitrary waveform synthesis techniques with the traditional single-frequency sine wave generated sine wave precision DAC sampling and analysis, preliminary analysis of the frequency domain characteristics of both. Finally, based on both synthetic waveform sample data analysis, the analysis and comparison of AC signal related parameters.
