On The Important Influence Of The Director's Choreographer On The Costume Performance

With the change of popular ideas on fashion and the development of fashion industry in accordance with the international trends,fashion show has become one of eye-catching activities in the fashion industry.During a fashion show,it is the Show Producer who coordinates different departments to push forward the whole process.As the designer director,and organizer of a fashion show,he/she is of great importance for the success of the performance.An excellent Show Producer could deliver the spirit of brands through shows.Thus,Show Producers,as an essential profession,should develop at a fast speed and be recognized by the fashion industry.However,compared with professional Show Producers who serve famous brands during the international summer and winter fashion shows,Show Producers are rarely recognized by the industry in China.The reason lies in the fact that the domestic market hasn't seen the importance of Show Producers for a show.In this thesis,I combined theories with practice.On the one hand,I read a great number of related essay's to enrich my knowledge.And on the other hand,I also participate in various fashion shows like graduate shows,China Graduate Fashion Week and Mercedes-Benz China Fashion Week.Through these,I analyze the relations between Show Producers and models,stage design,music,media and make-up,and illustrate the different stages of the work as a Show Producer to emphasize the importance of Show Producers.Secondly,by combining show Show Producer with the function of fashion show,the theory of avoiding drifting blindly,Maslow's hierarchy of needs and the theory of unity and parts,I confirmed the importance of Show Producer to the fashion show.Thirdly,by comparison with the professional Show Producer and unprofessional Show Producer during the fashion show,I made a conclusion about how important the stylist is to the show.At the last,by fulfilling the major dream of "Subject Leads Designing" which was followed by fashion designers and Show Producers,I plan to produce a fashion show with my graduation work<Returning to the Basics>to finally achieve the theme perfectly.
