As the development of powder metallurgy,mechanical powder presses,has faced great development problems because of its low degree of intelligentized.In order to provide effective monitoring,find its fault timely and improve its intelligence level,HPP8500 were researched as the object,an Remote Monitoring and Service System for powder presses were designed.Firstly,the remote monitoring,mould adjustment system and the resilient device of mechanical powder machine were researched,and the overall solutions of remote monitoring and service system were designed in detail.Secondly,a hardware platform of the remote monitoring and service system,based on STM32 as its micro-controller were designed,which includes a minimum control module,data transmission module,DA/AD module,human-computer interface module etc.The software of the platform were programmed,using embedded uC/OS system.Thirdly,aiming at the diffculty of mould adjustment,a mould adujustment algorithm,based on optimum seeking method and fuzzy control were proposed.Besides,Aiming at the resilient device of the lower punch in powder presses,poor antipollution ability,uneasy travel adjustment and poor reliability were researched,and a new closed-loop control system based on PID control were proposed.Experiment result,based on HPP8500,shows the mould adjustment algorithm and the resilient device work well.The prototype of Remote Monitoring and Service System has been developed and applied on the HPP8500 mechanical powder presses.The basic requirement of the system has been realized,and the intelligentized degree of the mechanical powder presses were much improved.
