LED Application Research In Apparel Design

As a product of a new era, combined with the fabric, LED costumes have the attributes of artistry and technological sense. The unique texture of fabrics, particularly "light" feature makes it possible to meet People’s requirements.This paper studies the theoretical analysis and design methods for LED costumes, covering the following aspects:(1) LED overview. The paper introduces several parts about LED definition, characteristics, classification, development and application.(2) The importance of LED dress. Through two levels of mental and physical, which can explore what the effects they made to the wearer.(3) How to combine LED with the fabrics. By analyzing woven fabrics, non-woven fabric characteristics, to explore the feasibility of combining it with the costume design, and through the best combination of tests to explore how each fabric and the LED combined.(4) Design for different groups of LED application, analysis needs of different consumers, looking for the most appropriate design for each type of consumers.(5) LED development and application of practical clothing. Studying LED costumes design, structure, fabric and color, develop LED costumes.Through specific research on LED fashion design theory and methods, this project comes to practical results by the form of examples, which has great market significance, and may promote the development and research of LED costumes designing, to provide the appropriate LED ideas and solutions for the future designed.
