With the advancement of technology and the development of city,the tools used in urban planning and management is also upgrading.From the early paperwork,and now the digitalization,new technology has brought the city more efficient tools in design and management.For cities,the three-dimensional model is the restoration of the city scenes,which can assist in urban planning and management.At the same time,when the functions of adding attributes and querying of the city three-dimensional model were deployed to the network,it can be a tool to serve the public.With the development of three-dimensional modeling technology,a new way of modeling began to come into people's vision and that is the computer language modeling.Compared with the traditional method of hand-modeling,computer modeling language is a more efficient,intelligent modeling.By compiling a computer language program according to certain syntax preparation,it makes the model continuously evolve from simplicity to complexity and forms the final model.Based on this principle,3D modeling works of many scenes can be quickly realized.Currently,a lot of procedural modeling software exists in the market.CityEngine,as a pioneer in the development of language modeling,merged as the leader in computer modeling language because of its unique CGA(Computer Generated Architecture)shape grammar.This paper selected CityEngine as the three-dimensional modeling platform and studied the method of generating the three-dimensional model of city by constructing rules through computer language.At the same time,it took Ganzhou Old Town as an example,compiling rule language for different types of buildings,roads and public space in the city in order to achieve rapid production of threedimensional model in this region.The established model can be displayed in different platforms.Thanks to parametric modeling,related scenes can be quickly modified by adjusting the relevant parameters and can be directly applied in? the case analysis and decision of reforming the old city.This study has a distinct advantage in assisting planning and design,and enhancing the design level.Dynamic display,multi-angle analysis and instant data feedback will facilitate the planning and decision making.
