Research On The Application Of Rule Modeling Based On CityEngine

In recent years,with the construction and development of digital city(smart city),the scope of urban informatization will continue to expand,the establishment of 3D landscape model based on large scale city will be more and more important.The traditional 3D modeling technology is difficult to meet the needs of modern city.In view of the above problems,this paper systematically studied the two main modeling methods,namely terrain and ground object modeling.Secondly,through the research of the three dimensional modeling software in recent years,the analysis of their respective functional modules,platform architecture,a comprehensive comparison,the final choice of CityEngine based modeling method.Then,according to the requirement of mass data modeling,this paper expounds the unique advantages of CityEngine in the realization of urban 3D landscape modeling,and analyzes the key technologies in urban modeling.Finally,select the Yingkou City Development Zone(Bayuquan)as the experimental object of the part of the streets,the application of the rule template,complete the experimentation area of the rapid three-dimensional landscape reconstruction,and the three-dimensional model of a key release to Scene Web to achieve 3D template browsing,query,and upload to Online ArcGIS and others to share.The model based on CityEngine rule can change the appearance of the model by adjusting the parameters,and display the spatial extent of the building,it can also be based on the rules,such as the building area,total construction area and the analysis of its volume ratio.CityEngine rules established by three-dimensional model can be applied to digital city,urban planning,construction,pipeline,rail transportation,simulation,game development and other aspects.
