| With the rapid development of international regional economic integration,regional economic integration in the Asia-pacific region has entered the all-round development stage.The current Asia-Pacific regional economic cooperation substantially evolved into a situation in which both "East Asia-mechanism" and "Asia-Pacific mechanism" are in the developing.Although the mechanism of regional economic cooperation in the Asia-pacific region is complex,the TPP which is led by the United States and the RCEP which is led by the ASEAN are most striking.the United States continue to strengthen economic ties with economies in the Asia-pacific region,hoping achieve the Asia-pacific free trade zone through TPP.ASEAN intend to consolidate its leading role in the Asia-Pacific region and counterbalance the TPP by advocating RCEP building actively.China as APEC’ rotating presidency in 2014,during the APEC meeting actively advocating practical,promote construction of the Asia-pacific free trade area,and the process of the meeting has officially launched the Asia-pacific free trade area.Based on analyzing various theory of regional economic integration and the current situation of the development of the Asia-pacific economic integration,This paper analysis the East Asia-mechanism and the Asia-Pacific mechanism with empirical,as well as the interdependence of Asia-pacific economies of China and the United States.This article also discusses the feasibility of the development model and path of the Asia-Pacific free trade zone.Through the research,this paper argues that in the process of building a Asia-pacific free trade area,the Asia-pacific regional economic cooperation in a variety of paths do not conflict,because the FTAAP idea is under the framework of APEC,therefore in the process of advancing the FTAAP,should stick to the leading role of APEC,implementation from APEC to FTAAP development pattern. |
