Research On China's Participation In Regional Economic Cooperation In The Asia-pacific Region

In recent years,Asia-Pacific region has become a strong engine of world economic growth,the strategic position of the Asia-Pacific region has increasingly been promoted.The economic cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region develops quickly,new initiatives and new ideas continue to emerge,the region's economies have established a large number of bilateral or multilateral free trade agreement.However,with the rapid development of economic and trade relations between countries,bilateral or multilateral free trade agreements at the promotion of trade liberalization and investment facilitation marginal revenue has been declined.At the same time,due to a wide range of bilateral or multilateral free trade agreement,also makes the Asia-Pacific region appears an effect of "the Noodle Bowl of Italy".In order to further expand the bonus of free trade and settle the effect of "the Noodle Bowl of Italy",economies are showing the desire to promote economic cooperation in the Asia-Pacific Region,but there are still a lot of differences between countries on how to promote economic cooperation in the Asia-Pacific Region.The emergence of TPP,making a high standard,pan regional free trade philosophy began to pop,however,with the withdrawal of the United States,the prospect of TPP are questioned by the countries.The continuous advance of RCEP,making a regional reality and future expectations of the multilateral FTA model gradually emerged,however,due to the lack of cohesion,flexibility and high standards,and the lack of the overall strength of ASEAN countries,the negotiations are uncertain.As a rising power and responsible country,China must not stay out in the regional economic cooperation in the Asia-Pacific raging like a storm in the process,in order to promote faster process of regional economic cooperation in the Asia-Pacific strategic and interests of China,China needs to play a more important role in the process of regional economic cooperation in the Asia-Pacific.In 2014,China used the opportunity of APEC Beijing summit,proposed to restart the free trade area of FTAAP,and the "One Belt and One Road " to assist the build of FTAAP.FTAAP can bring the complex FTA into a unified system at the current Asia Pacific region,seeking to establish a mechanism for regular coordination,this is not an easy path and easy way,but the long-term goal is worth the effort.The research object of this paper is the Asia-Pacific regional economic cooperation,focusing on the role and strategic choice of China in the process of economic cooperation in the Asia-Pacific Region.Mainly carries on the elaboration of TPP,RCEP,FTAAP three major Asia-Pacific Regional Economic Cooperation Mechanism and the "One Belt and One Road " proposed by China.On the basis of combing the historical evolution and present development of the Asia-Pacific regional economic cooperation,combined with the "One Belt and One Road " proposed by China,analyses the participation status,effect,strategy selection in the Asia-Pacific Regional Economic Cooperation and based on the analysis to explore the future path of economic cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region and analyze the strategic choice of China.
