With the development of nuclear power plant construction in China, owners of nuclear power plants always outsource the logistics to a third party logistics company in order to concentrate on construction. And herein 3PL(C Company) is a nuclear power plant logistics services provider and management company. C Company specializes in the outsourcing and supplier management in the implementation of projects. Logistics service provider's service capabilities and execute abilities directly affect the effect of TS project. Through the analysis of supplier management of C Company in TS project, this thesis puts forward some suggestions in the supplier management for Phase II of TS Project and other similar items programs in C Company.The main point of this article is that with its good basis and stronger competition on the market in the nuclear supplier management, C Company can basically meet the requirements to complete the nuclear power logistics. But if we can improve the level of supplier management, that will make C Company enhance its competitiveness in the market. Firstly, the paper introduces the background information: the development of nuclear energy and the basic pattern of nuclear power logistics. Then it introduces the relevant definitions and theories used in this article: third-party logistics,outsourcing, supplier management, Kraljic purchasing in four classification; theory of the third logistics, the characteristics of transportation of nuclear material, and analytic tools ABC classification methods and Kraljic matrix used in this paper. Then the core content of this article is the case analysis on TS project in C Company: firstly the introduction of the background of the case, including C Company's introduction,logistics and development of nuclear power, the current scope of services and the current general situation of supplier management; then the analysis and the comments on the process of supplier management, regulations and status in C Company; finally,recommendations to C Company about supplier management to use Kraljic matrix divide suppliers in four categories and to merger the procurement. C Company should enhance supplier evaluation processes and evaluation methodologies and training suppliers to conduct a comprehensive nuclear power and culture cohesion. The discussions in this article have the reference value to other similar companies on their domestic and overseas logistics business about nuclear power logistics.
