Research On The Logistics Outsourcing Decision Making Of TNP (T Nuclear Power) Production Materials

With the development of China economy in recent years, logistics outsourcing has gradually gained importance for Chinese companies in dealing with their logistics demand. In practice, sometimes logistics outsourcing brought success, while in some cases it lead to higher cost and failure. Currently, TNP is under operation-preparation phase. In order to ensure the safety of production materials supply in the near future and also to meet the large-scale and complicated logistics demand, it is necessary to decide the logistics management system and model in advance and make a choice between self-support and outsourcing.From the theoretical perspective, this paper summarizes and analyzes the motives, advantages, and decision model of logistics outsourcing, points out the main disadvantages of these decision models. Meanwhile, this paper analyzes the selection of logistics service supplier and potential risks as well as precautions of logistics outsourcing.Taking TNP as the research subject, this paper firstly clarifies that logistics system is not a component part of core competence of TNP in the first place. To meet the wide and complicated logistics demand of TNP and to solve the great difficulty in management, it is fundamental to research on the decision making of TNP’s logistics outsourcing under the guidance of overall management directions. In view of the advantages of logistics outsourcing for nuclear plant, a detailed investigation and analysis has been conducted on the scope and available resources of production materials. Through logistics system function utility analysis, a logistics outsourcing management system is finally decided. And the method and process for the selection of third party logistics supplier are discussed. Finally, this paper also provides suggestions for the matching safeguard measures of logistics outsourcing for TNP.
