The family farm as one of the new agricultural business entities, in recent years the attention of the central and provincial, central document repeatedly stressed that development should support family farms, to encourage the development of appropriate scale family farms.The current research mainly focuses on the concept, characteristics, rationality, existing problems and Countermeasures of the family farm. This paper uses the theory of scale economy, land decreasing returns to scale theory, cost-benefit theory of family farm moderate scale management theory analysis, comparison of different scale economic benefit from a cost perspective, the theoretical model of family farm moderate scale calculation; secondly, taking Ling’an city as an example using questionnaires, interviews and other methods research and investigation on the streets of the township in Ling’an family farm, access to relevant data of family farm scale management. With the continuous development of social economy, urbanization, land transfer smoothly, the new occupation farmer society increasingly perfect service system and cultural quality is relatively high, the market management ability, strong sense of investment in agricultural production, it will gradually expand the scale of.
