The Mode Study About Yunnan Drugstore Chain To Undertake Hospital Outpatient Pharmacy

Medicines is a special kind of merchandise which relates to citizen's life and health. In order to regularize medicine circulation order, Ministry of Commerce has issued a couple of policies, encouraging chain medicine stores to take part in health care reform. The policies require related authorities to clear off policy barriers for the development of chain medicine stores. In public hospital reform cities, the policies allow large scaled retail medicine stores with strict quality control, mature mechanism of licensed pharmacist and pharmaceutical dispensing and honesty records, to undertake hospital outpatient pharmacy's service.Chain medicine stores undertaking tasks of hospital outpatient pharmacy meets not only the needs of medicine reform of the county, but also development of chain medicine store itself. Apart from increasing the market shares, it will also lower patients' purchase cost, reduce patient volume and queuing pressure in hospitals, help standardize current medical system and improve existing drawbacks.Based on such environment and current situation of chain medicine stores in Yunnan Province, the article analyzed advantages and disadvantages of implementation of such model, using combination of theoretical and empirical methods, case study method, literature research method, information analysis method and contrastive analysis method, etc., and came to a conclusion that, at present, chain medicine stores in our province still have drawbacks in storage, sales model and medical services for meeting future challenges. Hence, based on the analysis, the article gave improvement suggestions and methods on storage strategy, sales model reform as well as medical service system, and provided theoretical basis and materials for future implementation of this model. These are in urgent need for current stage and also truly meaningful points in this article.Though pilot program of "chain medicine stores undertaking hospital outpatient pharmacy" model studied in the paper hasn't started in Yunan Province, with the progress of hospital reform, the methods summarized in the paper will provide practical paths for this model's future implementation in the province.
