Study On Quality Management Improvement Of Kostal Company

Throughout cases of vehicle recall all over of the world, it not only brings company great economic loss and serious credit crisis, and but also cause damage of property and personal injury. According to incompletely figures, the major of vehicle recalls come from quality problem of automotive components, and it raises a large amount of concern from the whole society for quality of automotive component. How to improve and ensure quality of automotive component? I consider quality of automotive component depends on the level of company quality management, when project quality management is qualified, product quality will be qualified. If quality management is unqualified, it will plant hidden danger for mass production in the future. So all auto parts companies should pay more attention to quality management, and find a suitable measure and establish a feasible institution to ensure effectiveness of quality management.Today, Competition is so fierce for all auto parts companies. How to attract the customers and take over market-share through implementing effective quality management to provide excellent products and service for customers? How to make significant profit through implementing effective quality management to improve quality of product and reduce operation risk? These are top priority thing to solve for companies. In the thesis Study on Quality Management Improvement of Kostal, through showing the case of Kostal and using quality management knowledge, to analyze, find reason and make out solution in terms of product design, process development and supplier quality. For product design, by establishing company knowledge management system and implementing quality function development technique, it makes sure product satisfy request of the customer.For process development, by building manufacturing error proof system and anti-static management system, and applying the Minitab software to analyze measure system, it can improve quality of manufacturing process and realize robust process capacity. For supplier quality by implementing the safeguard method of supplier quality maturity, it will improve and monitor quality performance of suppliers, and guarantee quality of purchased parts. We can expect a satisfied improvement of quality management by implementing measures above.This paper has two purposes. One is that it provides a reference for Kostal. There are some problems in quality management of Kostal, and it has a negative impact on continuous development of company. Hope this paper can provide a measure for Kostal. And the other is that it can be a reference and for all dogmatic auto parts companies regarding quality management. Currently, most of dogmatic auto parts companies don't pay real attention to quality management, and under-developed quality management is the important reason for company loss. Hope this paper can provide a valuable reference in terms of quality management for all dogmatic auto parts companies.
