Research On The Social Insurance Problems Of The Peasant Workers In Baotou

Recently, with the rapid development of economy and society, a larger number of peasant workers packed into Baotou city. While making a great contribution to the economic prosperity and urban construction of Baotou, their own social insurance rights don't get effective guarantee, which specific exhibited in no care for old, injury without protection and no cure for disease, and etc. The lack of social insurance rights has gradually affect the life and even the survival of peasant workers in Baotou.Thus, targeted measures should be took as soon as possible to address the problems of social insurance of peasant workers in Baotou.This paper viewed from the maintenance of the social insurance rights of peasant workers, emphasis on noticeable problems related to peasant workers in Baotou such as the insurance payment, treatment receiving, business processing, institutional guarantee and so on, and summarize these problem as six aspects including low participate willingness, too many limits, high payment standard, poor services, imperfect policy, and hard to maintain legal rights. In view of the existing problems, three aspects including peasant workers, employment units and government policy are analyzed in detail. Finally, combined with the actual situation of Baotou on the basis of drawing on advanced experiences in developed areas of China, putting forward valuable suggestions specifically in solving this problem.
