Ageing is actually brought about an agricultural impairment factors of production, in this case, is bound to have some impact on agricultural production. Country has always been regarded Problem in on the most important development, the construction of new rural areas, promote agricultural development and farmers’ income growth at all times by the national attention. Therefore, to explore the status of the agricultural labor force aging and its impact mitigation, ensure the smooth progress of agricultural production, it has become a very important part. This article will focus on Sichuan agricultural labor force aging issues. This paper describes the current situation of Sichuan agricultural labor force aging, made its causes analyzed and summarized, followed by cross-analysis of land use, food safety, food production, agricultural technology and agricultural machinery five aspects to elaborate agricultural labor force aging on agriculture the impact of production. Through the study found, Sichuan agricultural labor force aging is the result of interaction of various aspects:First, our country is under the background of an aging population; secondly, because a lot of labor in particular, the transfer of the young labor force; and finally the elderly people’s own ideas but also makes it prolongs the life of labor. At the same time the impact of aging agricultural labor force are many, starting with the land use situation, physical fitness is better because of its aging workforce young labor force, then it may cause the phenomenon of abandonment of land, cultivated land resources unnecessarily waste. From the food safety point of view, with the increasing degree of aging, in order to compensate for the lack of labor input, use of fertilizers and pesticides also will increase, which also caused some food safety risks. From food production, although total food production was not affected, but will be more inclined to elderly farmers planting high level of mechanization and good economic crops. For agricultural technology and agricultural machinery, although the elderly because of their own reasons would hinder the promotion of agricultural technology, but in the case of the labor factor is missing, in order to meet the growing food demand surge, will promote technological advances in agriculture and agricultural machinery usage of. Finally, the agricultural labor force to deal with the aging experience of combing through the relevant literature and a summary of other regions, according to the impact of Sichuan agricultural labor force aging brings, we propose the following policy recommendations, the promotion of agricultural technology, strengthening of social services in rural areas; while Cultivation of new agricultural body; and promote agricultural industrialization and scale; promote land transfer, land transfer to establish a scientific mechanism.
