Grain industry is a traditional industry of our country, and it is also the basic industry. The development of food industry and the continuous extension of the industrial chain of grain industry have made the information consulting industry grow up. In recent years, the rapid rise of the mobile Internet and social media has gradually changed the way people make purchase decisions. The traditional marketing methods cannot fully meet the needs of enterprise development, in this context, the new media marketing spread rapidly in various industries, The combination of food information consulting industry and new media marketing has become an inevitable trend.Along with the reform of China's grain circulation system, the information consultation market will usher in new development opportunities. Meanwhile the rapid development of new media marketing, has also brought new opportunities and challenges to grain information consulting industry. G company, which is in the grain information consulting business, also faces many difficulties. How to make good use of new media marketing, and bring new vitality to G company's information services, is a priority issue to be solved.This paper is based on the research object of the grain consultation service of G company, discusses the problems in the marketing of grain information consulting business from different angles, analyzes the causes of the problems, and puts forward some suggestions for these problems by using the new 4C theory.This paper is divided into five parts. The first part briefly introduces the research background, research significance and innovation of this paper. In the second part, through the analysis of the development of food information consulting industry and the new media marketing, find the combination of these two parts. In the third part, the paper introduces the current situation of G company and its food information consulting business, analyzes its marketing status, and finds out the existing problems. The fourth part, according to the key issues analyzed from the third part, use the new 4C theory, make new media marketing strategy from “context”, “community”, “content” and “connection”. In the fifth part, the paper introduces the measures and methods to improve the marketing strategy.New media marketing is a new form of marketing, the traditional 4P, 4C theory used in the new media marketing and cannot completely meet the demand. In this paper, the new 4C theory will be applied to the new media marketing knowledge and China's national conditions combined, more fit the actual situation of G company. Food information consulting industry is closely connected with the traditional food industry, new media is in the front of science and technology. The combination of them will open a new way of thinking for the development of food information consulting industry. Hope that through the practical application of the research in this paper, G company can improve the marketing of information consulting business. Also hope that through a variety of new media marketing strategy practice, G company could expend market and improve the level of profitability.
