The construction industry has always been a competitive industry. With the gradual improvement of infrastructure in large cities, some large and medium-sized enterprises in the big cities start to expand their business to new and state key infrastructure construction cities which are away from the company headquarters.In the process of business transfer and talent dispatch and in the fully developed market economy today, the salary management system plays an important role in attracting and retaining talented people.A perfect salary management system which is suitable for enterprise, conducive to the stability of personnel, helping the enterprises achieve the ultimate value, helping the enterprises fully mobilize the enthusiasm of the staff work,can create more business value to the enterprise by its employees.Based on the modern salary management theory, this paper analyzes the status and problems of the existing salary management system of a large state-owned enterprise which the author works for.Especially under the conditions of continuing to expand the company's existing projects which are away from the headquartersand continuing to recruit local staff, the existing salary management system is not enough and needs to be improved. Through the analysis of the existing compensation management system, the author puts forward an improvement and perfect way and the method to ensure the new salary management system in place.Basing on the company where the author works as well as the author's many years of work experience and combined with the current stage of development of enterprises and the characteristics of the construction industry, the author analyzes and explores the theory of salary management, and also combined with the company's strategy and regional differences. Hopefully, this paper can help someone who has the same experience as the author of this paper.
