This topic is a study for the case of application. Company K is a typical asset light international group co.Ltd, 95% of the spare parts procurement from abroad and one of the key com ponents P procurement in Chin a, but quality proble ms have been more, the company plans to implement the six sigma management to improve the quality of part P.In six sigma improvement project implementation process, this article adopts the unified standard of six sigma improvement: DMAIC(define measure, analyze, improve and control) five stages. In each phase of the promotion, and adopt some 6Sigma management analysis methods and tools, such as: Pareto chart, high-end program process(SIPOC), measurement system analysis(MSA), analysis of variance(ANOVA), processes capability index(CPK), etc.In this article, through six sigma m anagement theory and methods in the actual production suppliers the successf ul application of the CPK of the purchased product P was to improve the quality of the former three delta level increased to four or more delta of the improved quality, product P welding bad declined obviously. By improving the quality of the supp liers to produce nearly 710000 RMB, the econom ic benefits of K Com pany assembled product quality improved obviously.Application of six sigm a DMAIC continuous improvement in supplier parts quality improvement is an important tool to help enterprise own quality strategy; it is not simply the application of technical methods, but also a new w in-win cooperation model.
