Firstly, on the basis of referring to a large number of relevant literature, the paper analyzes the status quo of the research, proposes the main content, framework and research method of paper, explains the basic theory of inventory, reservegrain stock model, and analyzes the factors of grain reserve classification from the importance, response time. Then the paper introduces the basic situation, the grain inventory, the assistant management and the rotation of reserve grain depot, and points out problems about the rotation mode of reserve grain, the cost of rotation, the management information system of grain reserves, the internal management. Then, according to the different period, the demand type, the different classification of the material, under certain assumptions, it establishes the control model of inventory. Through the design, the optimal solution to the inventory of the Changde stock is obtained, and the sensitivity analysis is carried out on the parameters such as the changes of the cost and the rotation of the grain reserves. On the basis of this, the key control points are found to affect the inventory cost,and the inventory optimization measures and guarantee mechanism are put forward.
