The Research On Development Of Urban Riverside Area Tourism

From the ancient times,"Live Alongside Water " is the lifestyle of people.The urban river often witnessed the city's boom and decline,and it is the most cultural place of a city.Today the leisure tourism grows very fast,and the urban riverside shows a huge tourism development potential.China and overseas scholars have done a lot of researches of urban riverside area tourism from theory to practice,and have achieved some results.In China most cities have a river goes through,and as the urban riverside area's tourism value appear day by day,and many cities began to gradually explore a series of riverside tourist products.But compared with foreign successful riverside tourist products,there is a big gap in China.Mainly displays in the following ways,product structure unitary,lack of features,accessibility and hydrophilic poor,lack of unified management,etc.This paper fully absorbing foreign outstanding key factors in the success of the riverside tourist products,as a case study of Chengdu Jinjiang.By analyzing Jinjiang riverside's tourism development environment,tourism resources and tourist market,summarized the advantages,weaknesses,opportunities and threats of the development of the riverside tourism,and finally it is concluded the feasibility and necessity to develop the tourism of Jinjiang riverside.At the end of the paper,it corresponded some countermeasures and Suggestions of Jinjiang riversides' tourism development from four Angle of development principle,subject refining,development strategy and operation management.The innovation of this paper is that,the research angle is based on urban cultural tourism and global tourism,meanwhile this paper creatively put forward to the tourism development concept that building the Jinjiang became "The Eye of Chengdu".
