Stephen p. Robbins, a managerialist, thinks that team is the combination of two or more interactive and interdependent individuals according to certain rules, usually for some specific goal. A team has several features. It is usually target oriented and based on cooperation; moreover, it needs techno-complementarity and shared norms and methods among members. In the knowledge economy times, change is the only constant. The environmental uncertainty and the complexity of the task promote the deep fusion of multidisciplinary knowledge, so the working organization mode has been changing quietly. Team is the foundation, and it is playing a more and more important role in modern organization and management. Jack Welch once said: “You can take my business, but you can't take away my team. As long as I still have my team, I can start a more glorious business.” Now more and more professionals and enterprise managers are paying much attention to strengthening the team management and improving team performance. The improvement of team performance is affected by various factors. According to the analysis of the related studies, team process is regarded as the key factor. The individuals and groups with professional and technical skills are the carrier of team tacit knowledge sharing, and it becomes apparent in attitudes, norms and the ways to deal with problems. It deeply affects the individual behavior, and becomes the foundation and source of knowledge innovation and the formation of core competitiveness in a team. Thus, this paper will make further exploration about the relationship among team tacit knowledge sharing, team process and team performance. This paper first conducts a reasonable review of the literature research achievements at home and abroad. Then it defines the basic concept of team tacit knowledge sharing, team process and team performance, and proposes the hypothesis about their relationship. At the same time, whether team process acts as the mediator in tacit knowledge sharing or not is considered as the key. Next, to check whether research hypothesis and the theoretical model are supported, this paper analyzes the research hypothesis and the team process, tacit knowledge sharing, and team performance theory model, using social statistics analysis method such as descriptive analysis method, correlation analysis, the factor analysis, regression analysis method, structural equation modeling and so on. Finally, the practical implications that the research results have for enterprise management, especially for team management, is discussed.According to the test results given by SPSS19.0 and AMOS6.0, this paper draws such conclusions.(1)Team process has positive impacts on team tacit knowledge sharing.(2) team tacit knowledge sharing has positive impacts on team performance.(3) Team process has positive impacts on team performance.(4) Team tacit knowledge sharing remarkably acts as the the mediator between team process and team performance. This paper is innovative mainly in the following three aspects:Firstly, the paper expands theoretical research about the team process, team tacit knowledge sharing and team performance. The existing researches focus on the influence that team process has on the team performance. Few discuss the transmission mechanism between team process and team performance, let alone study the relationship between team process and team performance based on team tacit knowledge sharing as intermediary variable. Thus, in this paper, team tacit knowledge sharing is regarded as intermediary variable to study the the relationship between team process and team performance. This will have great significance for revealing the “black box” between team process and team performance. This is not only a new perspective, but also the the biggest innovation of this paper.Secondly, this paper revises related research scale and makes an empirical analysis according to China's actual conditions. Based upon the existing researches and China's conditions, the paper proposes amendment and supplement of the content and expression of team tacit knowledge sharing, team process and team performance scale, and offers a powerful research tool for the indigenous researches on team tacit knowledge sharing, team process and team performance. This is another important innovation in this paper.Thirdly, in this paper, structural equation model is established, and quantitative and qualitative analysis are combined. To reveal the relationship among team tacit knowledge sharing, team process and team performance, the paper combines quantitative and qualitative analysis, and establishes the structural equation model based on qualitative research. Then with the whole model, the paper gets empirical results using both multivariate regression analysis and route analysis. This is the third remarkable innovation.
