The multimodal transport based on container as the basic unit is the advanced stage and the inevitable trend of transportation. So, many developed and developing countries are committed to the development of the multimodal transport, to ensure the rapid circulation of goods and promoting the development of the national economy. The combined transportation of container multimodal transport can create more value, to maximize the overall benefits, at the same time, the enterprises which take part in the multimodal transport can gain a obvious competitive advantage and more personal benefits. The foundation of the enterprise participate in the combined transportation is getting more cooperation benefit, and in this process, the most concerned matter is how to distribute the cooperation benefits reasonably, meanwhile, the matter concerns if we could build a stable multimodal transport enterprise alliance. When we study the cooperation profit allocation problem, under the guidance of the virtual enterprise theory, coordination theory and related research results, taking the cooperative game theory as the main analytical tool, the paper taking the MTO as the core profit allocation model as the emphasis of the research, in order to giving the organizing of multimodal transport system and operation management in the process of combined transport theory guidance.Based on the former research on container multimodal transport, the paper summarizes the multimodal transport enterprise alliance characteristics in organization and operation management which are differ from other enterprise alliance, and then, draw forth the core content of the paper, namely, the matter of cooperation profit allocation. The following are to move forward a single step to study on the profit allocation problem. The first part of the article summarize the research achievement of container multimodal transport and cooperation profit allocation problem which take the game theory as a tool, and then, giving the technology roadmap of the paper and research methods. Chapter two and three state the basic theory and concept which needed by the later modeling, the main contents are as follows: The basic concept and characteristics of container multimodal transport; Summary of the game theory; The virtual characteristics of multimodal transport enterprise alliance; The cooperative characteristic of combined transport; The feasibility the using game theory to study the problem; The basic characteristics, pattern, influencing factors of multimodal transport profit allocation and the basic principles of the game theory income distribution. The core of the paper is chapter four, five and six. Analyzing the existing income distribution game model and synthetically considering the main influencing factors, we build a more scientific and more reasonable distribution model. In the last chapter we use a numerical example to test the new model.
