The Development And Application Of MES For Y&C Engine

Y&C Engine is a company that produces diesel engines.The engine assembled with an assembly line and two part lines.The engine body is assembled in the assembly line.And the engine head and the piston connecting rod are assembled in the two part lines.But the process of the assembly lacks of the communication of information with other lines.What's more,the production data cannot upload in real time.These situations have brought a lot of inconvenience for the managers in the workshop.To solve these problems,MES collects all the production data with the thought of enterprise information for the enterprise and production.MES is presented with SQL Server 2008 database,Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 and C# language after the investigation of an engine assembly line about the enterprise problems.To design and develop,the system is divided into five modules: the workpiece on-line module,the material verification module,the repair modules,the matching module and the off-line module.The on-line module solves the problem of receiving orders and printing bar code and paves the way for the normal operation of MES.The material verification module coordinated the contradiction between materials collection and takt,not only ensures the assembly and collection of materials,but also keeps the takt.The repair module provided the flexible repair strategy for unqualified workpiece,makes sure the correctly handle for unqualified workpiece and the wholeness of orders.Meanwhile,the module also does its best to reduce the impact of the takt.The matching module not only connects the data but also makes the matching correctly between the part line and the assembly line,so that the managers can view the engine data systematically.The off-line module guarantees the parts quality and maintains the order status to make the managers have an overall grasp.The five functional modules completed each other,constitute MES of Y&C Engine to improve the enterprise information of workshop to maximum.
