This paper studies on S company which is a gear motor(GM)manufacturing company.In order to improve the production efficiency and satisfy the marketing requirements,this paper research and design the mix assembly lines which are high market demands in gear motor.First,research on the status quo of the production of GM products.GM products contain all kindsr of series,which mainly are composed of gear boxes and motors.But there are many problems of GM productions at producing stage: because of the low working effecient at the assembly station,the peoduction can not satisfy the market demand,so,it need to organize and design the assembly to improve efficiency;The production processes are unbalanced and not comprehensive process step,which can not achieve the same assembly line,because of the complex process steps and the bad similarity;The materials can not be moved smoothly,due to the unscientific wrokshop space layou.Second,this paper study how to solve problems of production.According to the analysis of poducts,this paper find the products with high market demand and high similarity of process steps,and then the assembly line be balanced and design to increase productivity.Because GM products are divided into gear and motor two parts,the study design two assembly lines,which one is the gear box assembly and another one is the motor assembly.The two assembly lines are working at the same time.The balance design of the assembly line mainly includes the determination of the assembly beats,The balance and design assembly line includes determining the assembly beats and optimizing process steps,designing a gearbox assembly process diagram and a motor assembly process diagram with simultaneous production.Using the production than the reciprocal method to arrange the commissioning sequence,and calculating the production order in a production cycle on behalf of the product.Finally,this paper ptimize the layout of the assembly workshop.In this paper,the workshop is replaned to determine the workshop specific facilities layout,and propose solutions to improve the material flow;assembly line layout and delivery methods and material racks made a more detailed layout design.
