A great number of scholars have been researched strategic alignment ever since the concept was put forward. It has already become one of the research topics in the strategic management field. However, at present, most of the researches start with three aspects:the alignment between strategy and environment, the alignment between strategy and enterprise system, and the alignment between strategy and enterprise resources. The alignment between strategy and its implementation has been rarely researched. With the development of economy, the enterprises that want to be competitive in the market, the competitive strategy will be the focus of the enterprises. However, the competitive strategy is just the beginning of enterprise strategic management. The implementation ways are also very important for the whole strategic management. What's more, improper implementation ways will lead to the failure of the strategy. In consequence, for the strategic management of the enterprises, the alignment between strategy and its implementation is particularly significant.Taking the listed company of Shanghai Stock Exchange as the research object, the thesis firstly identified the strategic types of the enterprises with confirmatory factor analysis, dividing the competitive strategies into differentiation strategy, cost leadership strategy and target concentrated strategy. Secondly, the thesis identified the implementation models of competitive strategy by using the data information provided by Wind Information. Meanwhile, taking ROE as the feedback index of the strategy implementation result, the thesis discussed the mapping relation between strategic types and implementation models to find out the optimum combination, which provided theoretical guidance for the enterprises in the selection of strategic types and implementation models.The research results as follows:there are three optimal combinations:low cost strategy & external mergers, differentiation strategy & internal development, mix strategy & strategic alliance; the enterprise that takes low cost strategy as its competitive strategy is not so picky about implementation models, thus it can choose external mergers or internal development. However, compared with the other two implementation models, the profit of the enterprise that chooses strategic alliance will be lower. The enterprise that chooses differentiation strategy as its competitive strategy is very picky about implementation models, once it chose external mergers or strategic alliance, the performance of the enterprise will be obviously lower than the enterprises that chose internal development model. The enterprise that chooses mix strategy as its competitive strategy is not picky about implementation models, the strategic alliance model gain optimal performance, however, it is not obvious comparing with the other two models. The enterprise should select explicit competitive strategy and implementation model as much as possible, instead of causing unnecessary ambiguity.
