In 2013, with the project of national potato planting agricultural standardized demonstration zones through acceptance in Xingye county, potato industry usher in a significant development opportunity in this County. Here, we investigated and analyzed the current situation of potato standardization production in Xingye county, pointed out the present main problems of generalizing potato standardized production and also proposed several countermeasures for potato standardized development. The results of our research are as follows:1. Xingye county has a good natural environment and socio-economic conditions for developing potato standardization production, containing the appropriate temperature, a sufficient number of sunshine, abundant rainfall, rich land resources, convenient transportation, excellent geographical location and superior platform powerful organizational leadership et al., advantages, therefore it is very suitable for potato standardization production and has great potential for development.2. The advantage of develop potato standardization production utilizing winter fallow land are:will not delay the planting time of rice; be utilized sufficiently of the field; planting time short; income benefits obvious and easy accepted for masses.3. The main problems in development of potato standardization production in Xingye county containing:standardization implementation is difficult; suitable for standardization of production of arable land accounted for low; standardized production promotion is not ideal; specialized market construction is lagging behind.4. Comprehensively promote the potato standardized production in Xingye county should take the following countermeasures:make good use of national policy; increasing financial investment; constantly improve agricultural facilities; establishment of potato seed breeding and supply system; accelerate and propel the standardization of potato promotion and storage capacity-building; establish and improve the information service system.
