With the increasingly fierce competition in the market, the demand of enterprises to reduce the manufacturing cost is more and more important. Therefore, more and more enterprises begin to implement Lean system. They hope to use this system to reduce the waste, improve the quality of products and management the project. As the aerospace industry such as: Airbus, Boeing and Chinese large aircraft project in the rapid development of our country, the demand of aerospace materials market has been growing. O n the other hand, the global economic recession requires the aviation enterprises to reduce the cost and quickly response. In this environment, the capacity improvement has become the most important issue in the Company P. Therefore, this thesis bases on the specific condition of the Company P. Lean system is used in ramping up production capacity and project management case. This thesis aims to show the application of Lean is necessary and feasible. This thesis integrates Value Steam Map, 5S, Kanban, SMED, Ergono mics, Error proofing,Judoka,Italy noodle map in the specific application in the capacity improvement of Company P. At the same time, the thesis introduces the key action of Lean in Company P such as: method select, enterprise culture, the quality of personnel and training, the project measure and follow up, the communication and reward, continuous and long-term implementation of Lean system. This study of capacity improvement in Company P can provide reference for other enterprises in the project management and Lean application.
