Along with the progress of the society, the industry related with IT also achieves a huge development. Different from the traditional manufacturing, IT industrial park provides the main product of service rather than the real goods, so it needs to provide more human resource and intellectual support. In the process to implement IT project in a company, the human resource management gradually becomes an important part of investment process, the rational utilization of human resource and effective implementation of human resource management in the core management are vital. The key effect of the whole IT project in the enterprise is the performance level of IT project employee, and it also concerns the further development of the project. Therefore, It is important to research the method to improve the IT project employee's performance.With the case of S company, the paper analyzes and summarizes the factors influencing S company via questionnaire survey and interview, expounds the problems existed in the performance management of IT project in S company, and proposes the improving suggestions and optimal strategies. Two conclusions are obtained. Firstly, the problems existed on IT project employee's performance management in S company can be presented as follows: not enough scientific design of assessment index; not enough scientific subject setting of performance assessment; not scientific setting of assessment cycle; lack of necessary communication in the assessment process; no in-depth application of assessment result; casual usage of assessment authority. Secondly, the improving suggestions and optimal strategies on IT project employee's performance management system in S company include five aspects: re-design the overall thought to optimize the IT project employee's performance management in S company; design the assessment subject; design the assessment cycle; optimize the assessment communication; optimize the application of assessment result; optimize the assessment authority, and other strategies.Establishing a set of superior performance assessment system can provide the scientific basis for the management decision in the enterprise, and it is beneficial to realize the organizational strategic goal. Meanwhile, the performance improvement can improve the employee's working enthusiasm, promote the common growth and development of employee and organization.
