Due to the impact of the financial crisis in 2008, the global economies fall into recession and the trade markets also have different degrees of contraction. China's foreign trade inevitably suffered a huge impact. However, the good momentum of the development of the BRICS countries known as Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa, these five countries has been the world's attention. In order to expand the trade market and achieve the needs of the development, the BRICS countries as the representative of emerging economies naturally become the primary objective of the implementation of trade diversification. If the BRICS countries, including China, can strengthen trade links with each other, will have a significant impact on each other's trade and the world economy. This paper firstly expounds the economic development of the BRICS countries in detail, and then made analysis of the status and developing potential of the BRICS. After that this paper analyzed the trade relationships between China and the other BRICS countries according to a large amount of data. The following is focus on the status of trade in goods in the world, the ability to attract foreign investment and the dependency of trade these three aspects. After that made description of the size and structure of BRICS countries'foreign trade. This paper also introduced the cooperation of trade between China and the other BRICS countries. According to the analysis above, this paper using the panel data of year 1998-2013 explores the factors which will affect the China's exports to the other BRICS countries and the potential of export. The results showed that the degree of the openness of the other BRICS countries, good economic foundation, and other BRICS countries gross domestic product will significantly enhance the demand for China's export, while the distance and the change in the exchange rate will restrain exports. At last this paper summarizes the conclusion of the previous analysis and put forward policy recommendations to promote the trade between China and the other BRICS countries.
