This thesis studies the new product research and development project management method for the transforming technical enterprise, which transformation is comparatively balanced between innovation and inheritance, with discussions on the application to the real enterprise.The main works accomplished in this thesis is as follows. Firstly the factors critical to the transforming enterprise's product development project management success are discussed from the perspective of marketing, management and technology. Secondly the management framework for the new product development project management is established under the consideration of domestic enterprises transformation features. The management tasks and implementation methods are detailed within the designed framework from the view of management flow, with emphasis on those important to the enterprise transformation. For each point is discussion the related management objective, risk and solutions are presented and analyzed in combination with the real case of Xiangyu technique company transformation.The management framework established in this thesis for new product research and development project management in the innovation/inheritance balanced cases are as the following. Globally, this management method is customer requirement driven. Technically, is is centric with the new product's good architecture design. In micromanagement aspects is is incremental and iterative with emphasis on continuous accumulation and improvement. In summary the thesis gives a detailed theoretical analysis on the topic and the designed method has initially applied to the real case which obtains comparatively good effects showing the solution's rationality and practicality.
