Along with the electric power system reform in our country, the electric power industry has been developing in the direction of market-oriented reform. To face the new market challenges, the electric power companies must do a good job in the management of the enterprise first. In modern enterprise management concept, enterprise's competition can be attributed to the competition of human resources, and a good human resource management system has become a prerequisite for the efficient operation of the enterprise. Performance assessment is one of the cores of human resources management.Y Company is a subsidiary of China State Grid Corp. We use Y Company as the research object to study the design and implementation of performance appraisal system, In this paper, through the study of related literature, and the study of performance evaluation system, we analyze the 360-degree performance evaluation method, the target management, the balanced scorecard and the key performance indicators. Finally, combining with the actual situation of Y Company, based on the key performance indicators method and other methods we will build a suitable performance evaluation system for Y Company.This article is divided into five parts. The content is as follows:The first part introduces the background and the significance of the research, and then gives a brief introduction of the research ideas and methods. The second part describes the related concepts of performance evaluation and several methods of performance evaluation. The third part describes the situation of Y Company and the status of the performance evaluation, and then analyzes the problems in the current performance evaluation work. The fourth part will build a performance evaluation method for Y Company, combining with the actual situation. The fifth part is the performance and problems of the new performance evaluation system in Y Company.
