| As the most populous country in the world, China is facing gradually approaching aging society, which stimulates higher demand for medical services and in turn has promoted China’s medical device industry rapid development in recent years. Many participants in the competition of medical market China, includes not only the world famous multinational enterprises, but also small startups and the middle-sized domestic enterprises. Chinese medical device companies, especially small and middle-sized private enterprises are facing how to circumvent the development bottle-neck and win the leading position among numerous competitors, effective strategies are needed for domestic enterprises to guide the further development.Based on this purpose, this paper investigated SCW medical instrument limited company(hereinafter referred to as SCW) and developed a series of strategies with business analysis models. First of all, the internal and external environment of PEST model, Five Forces Model and the Internal and External Factor Evaluation Matrix and other tools were used to identify and analyze the key factors impacting the development of medical equipment enterprises. Then, the paper analyzed the facing opportunities, threats,advantages and disadvantages of using SWOT matrix, clarified the capability of the enterprise and development direction of SCW’s competitive position in the market. Finally,combined with the corporate vision and mission, the paper proposed the long-term development strategy for SCW, which focus on development of domestic emergency market, cardiology products and technology innovation, that to solve the existing problems of SCW, and practical strategy recommendations for other similar small and middle-sized private medical device companies. |
