Since the release of the USB(V0.7)serial interface in 1994,because the USB interface has the advantages of Plug and Play(PnP),faster transmission speed,support for multiple types of device connection,and no peripheral power supply,etc.The USB interface has become the most commonly used standard interface for devices such as computers,cell phones,tablets,digital cameras,printers and scanners.With the rapid development of the semiconductor integrated circuit industry,rapid progress has been made in the advancement of information technology.USB2.0 has no advantage in the transmission or storage of Ultra HD video,large numbers of digital photos and large software programs.In 2008 USB-IF(USB Implementers Forum)released the USB3.0 protocol.USB3.0 supports 5Gbps transfer rate per second and is fully upward compatible with USB2.0.It can provide power for equipment with greater power demand(from 500 mA to about 900mA),and full duplex data communication enables faster transmission.Since the USB3.0 transmission rate is about 10 times higher than that of USB2.0,it also has a high improvement in performance in many aspects.However,the USB3.0 test also poses a higher challenge.I In order to guarantee the performance and quality of the USB3.0 interface,what methods are used to test the USB3.O interface and how to implement the USB3.O interface test.This paper will focus on the above issues,study USB3.0 interface te st methods,and achieve USB3.0 interface testing.The main purpose and research of this paper are as follows:1.The background of the USB3.0 interface test project design and the state of technology research at home and abroad will be introduced.The USB3.0 interface bus architecture and the working principle of the physical layer will be introduced.The USB 3.0 interface test of this article is based on the physical layer test,mainly for USB3.0 receive test and send test.2.Introduction to key technolo gies for USB3.0 testing.USB3.0 transfer rate has reached 5Gbps,the transmission of the signal has entered the microwave radio frequency range.USB3.0 test must be based on a variety of test key technology theory.The key technologies of USB3.0 test include : eye diagram test technology,jitter test technology,emphasis test technology and equalization test technology.3.USB3.0 interface instrumentation test research and implementation.In order to realize the research of USB3.0 test method.The hardware platform of USB3.0 interface is designed and developed to meet the need of sending test and receiving test of USB3.0 interface.Utilize dedicated test instruments and test software such as oscilloscope and BER tester to research and implement the USB3.0 transmit test and receive test.4.USB3.0 interface ATE test method research and implementation.In order to realize the research of USB3.0 test method,the ATE test board was designed and developed to meet the needs of USB3.0 interface for sending and receiving tests.Based on Advantest V93000 tester,independently create USB3.0 test project,develop USB3.0 test program.Research and implementation of USB3.0 send and receive test.
