In recent years,with the development of economy and the progress of science and technology,due to the popular demand,the safety system automation is becoming more and more important.Security patrol robot is a comprehensive patrol system which including self-dependent location and navigation,multi-sensor fusion and intelligent technology.Because of these advantages,security patrol robot system is widespread use in the security area which can provide primary security in all-weather,all-directional and all-dynamic security guarantee instead of security personnel.It offers real-time monitoring to detect the abnormal condition of the current environment and illegal invasion,which can greatly improve the accuracy,real-time and the level of automation of the condition monitoring.The patrol security robot has a widespread use and practical value which can greatly improve the efficiency of safety protection,accurate,and degree of automation.In future,the new security model of “robot +human” will replace the existing security model.In our study,we design a night patrol security robot which can fit for the night patrol in the large buildings,warehouses,factories and other areas.It can complete dynamic and comprehensive monitoring without people in it.The night patrol robot can greatly increase the security protection level in the night environment of buildings,and can assist the building intelligent security equipment.Special design of the night patrol security robot can ensure complete security work in combine place of movement and quiescence.The main research work and research production are as follows:1.This paper is stated that the importance and necessity of apply night security patrol robot through the analysis of security industry and motion control principle of robot in recent years,which found the function and practical value of the night patrol security robot,and introduced the patrol security robot which has been put to use at home and abroad.2.Based on the factual environment and society features of the night buildings,the paper analyzed and summed up according to the functional requirements of night patrol security robots.3.The overall structure of night patrol security robot hardware general arrangement is designed according to the function of night patrol security robots,the paper establishes of standard hardware modular developing overall structure and a mathematical model,offering a number of solutions for different problems.4.According to the overall structure of patrol robots hardware design,which including main control hardware system,motion control hardware design,and environment monitoring hardware design.The paper analyses the function of each module and designs the specific circuit.5.According to the overall structure of night patrol security robot software design,the paper design the core system which use every function module and gives the main software system diagram.6.When the night patrol robot is finished,the robot need to be tested.To demonstrate that whether the patrol night robot can satisfy the requirements,the test mainly includes mobile test,positioning error test and environmental monitoring test.
