In recent years,more and more attention has been paid to new display techniques and materials with the rapid rise of display market.Display devices meeting different application circumstances are expected to be manufactured with the growing research investment.The rotating display device,based on the persistence of vision techniques,is a novel display device with less cost,more compact size,lighter weight compared to the traditional full-line display devices and can meet the requirements of long-term clearness as well as stable display on high-speed rotating surfaces.Rotating display devices could be installed on various rotating surfaces such as wheels,blades,etc.Therefore,the rotating display techniques have an extensive application prospect.However,the development of rotating display technology still falls behind the traditional matrix display technology due largely to the lack of complete technical systems,standard instructions and full-function simulation devices.Thus,it is a challenge to develop a set of outstanding rotating display device.In this dissertation,working principles of a rotating display device is analyzed in details,a set of rotating display simulation system is designed and developed,and the display effects of rotating display devices with certain parameters is simulated.The simulation system includes the functions of image getting mode and importing or exporting modeled data.Additionally,a special storage format of image files for rotating display systems is proposed,and it is could contribute significantly to the development of rotating display devices.This work mainly aims to provide reference effects for developers in the design stage.WPF is a UI framework for building desktop client programs in windows system and provides convenient UI construction and excellent interface effects.In this dissertation,the WPF reserved space under the WPF framework is used to build a simple,efficient user interface.Visual Studio 2015 is used as a development tool,and all of the core algorithms of image getting mode,modeled data importing and exporting,rotating display dynamic simulation and system state monitoring are written in the C # programming language.In addition,a multi-threaded computing model is used in high-speed image processing that requires a large amount of computing power and this method can ensure the high responsiveness and simulation accuracy of the system to meet the project requirements.
