Video surveillance is firstly applied to the security industry.Currently,the security industry has developed rapidly in China,and at the same time has become highly competitive.The traditional video surveillance system mainly focuses on image acquisition and preview as well as the control and storage of gathered images,among which the simulative images predominate.With the continuous improvement of the computer industry,the video surveillance system has entered the era of high-definition,networking and intelligence[1].The natural protection area involved in the subject design is of a wide geographical area,complicated environment,and poor weather conditions,and the current technical protection approach of that area is the traditional simulative video surveillance system that was built many years ago,which has such deficiencies as the backward technology,limited control and coverage area,and more equipment damage.With aims to relieve the long-standing governance pressure of nature protection area,and to solve the problems of limited technical protection approach and the lack of information resources,the research subject is to design and deploy a comprehensive video surveillance system in close combination with the management and control requirement of the nature protection area,and the following goals are to be achieved:1.Perfect infrastructure facilitiesIn most parts of the natural protection area,the natural conditions are awful,and it remains untraveled without any water,electricity,and transportation infrastructure.It is required not only to build the video surveillance system,but also to implement the construction of the supporting facilities such as the computer room,power supply,transmission,and protection facilities,thus the whole-day operation of the video surveillance system can be guaranteed.2.Multiple video acquisition approachesThe nature protection area has a wide jurisdiction,and the different governance areas of which have varied usage requirements.Fixed video acquisition front-ends which consists of heavy-duty turntable cameras,laser night vision PTZ cameras and other cameras are deployed in key areas with the long-term monitoring requirement;and the portable unattended mobile video acquisition front-ends are deployed in areas with short-term monitoring requirement;under the temporary or unexpected irregular circumstances,wireless video acquisition front-ends such as piggyback,vehicle-mounted and air drones are deployed.3.Automatic and intelligent management platformThe video surveillance platform has a video image intelligent analysis function[2],which supports intrusion detection,motion detection,perimeter protection,stay?retention?detection,suspicious objects legacy detection,video image quality anomaly detection and so on.The management platform can automatically notify the operators of various alarm information triggered by intelligent analysis of video images in a timely and adequate manner,thus greatly reducing the burden on personnel in the surveillance system.4.Multi-service system integrationThe video surveillance system of the subject design will be interfaced after upgrading the current simulative surveillance system,and will be integrated with the video conferencing system,GIS system,and command and dispatch system of the nature protection area.Through the integration of multiple service systems,the sharing,mutual call and system linkage between the video surveillance systems with other system resources can be achieved and the information management of nature protection area can be improved.In the process of design and deployment,the topic combines user needs with continuous improvement,while users participate in the deployment and testing of the whole project.The project finally completed the design goals better,fully reflected the significance of this research,and accumulated a lot of practical experience for future work.
