Acousto-optic signal processing technology with large instantaneous bandwidth, large dynamic range, high gain and high-speed parallel processing capacity had broad prospects for development in an increasingly complex electromagnetic environment. In this paper, the methods those how to extract effective informations from original signals by space-integrating acousto-optic correlator and acousto-optic frequency tracking system were mainly discussed.The paper mainly includes seven parts:(1) The acousto-optic signal processing technology backgrounds, development prospects and the major applications have been clarified, and led to the works and purports of this thesis.(2) The principles of the core device of the acousto-optic signal processing have been analyzed, and the mathematical expressions and physical meaning of the main parameters through the theoretical analysis of Bragg diffraction have been determined.(3) The principles of acousto-optic correlator have been analyzed, and the Matlab simulations of them have been made after mathematical modeling. The possibility of actual application could be verified through its simulation results. The potential problems in actual applications have been identified through the comparative analysis of the experimental data and simulation results.(4) The problem that how to get the parameters of original signals from the first-level diffraction result has been discussed, and the Matlab simulations have been made to verify the possibility of actual application, then errors in actual applications have been analyzed.(5) The acousto-optical frequency tracking system has been analyzed and simulated to discuss its feasibility. This system has been tested, and then the possibility of actual applications could be identified through the comparative analysis of the experimental data and simulation results.(6) The solutions of the problems that come from the systems have been discussed, including the effects of system performance due to the angular deviation, the contradiction between the frequency tracking accuracy and the frequency tracking area of the acousto-optical frequency tracking system, the analysis of system band-width and how to improve the SNR of systems.(7)The problems mentioned and solved have been summarized, and then the prospects and plans for the next works have been made.
