With the globalization of economic, the purchasing, production, selling, and service of material are provided by various enterprises in different countries all over the world. As a kind of important standardized transportation, which is emphasized by logistics under this condition, the multi-modal transportation can integrate various local or regional transports into a global and effective transporting chain to realize the integrated services through the seamless connection of transport modes. The problem of improving the transporting efficiency with uncertain disturbance has attracted great attention in the field of logistics optimization. With dividing the uncertainty into two types of disturbance, including the predictable and unpredictable, this study for the optimization of global and local can be summarized as follows:Firstly, with predictable disturbance concerns, the centralized decision-making mode is adopted to establish a multi-objective and non-linear path optimization model, considering time, cost, and reliability of transportation. As a multiple and complex graph,a method is proposed to change the transport network into a three-dimensional graph, aiming to use an improved Dijkstra algorithm to solve the model. And the simulation experiments show the effectiveness of the model and the algorithm proposed.Secondly,as the independent agents, the utility functions of multi-modal transport operator and carrier are proposed respectively, considering economy, timeliness, and reliability,to design a bidding decision based on multi-attribute auction. On this basis,a mechanism based on three-dimensional network and non-linear compensation function is proposed to update the solution. The simulation experiments show that the distributed decision-making can improve the reliability of transportation and provide an effective solution for more instances, compared with the centralized one.Lastly, with unpredictable disturbance concerns, the coordination between ports and ships is proposed to establish a scheduling model for both berth allocation and speed optimization, based on the speed of ship.A dynamic negotiation mechanism between two agents,as well as the rational decision models,is proposed respectively, based on the calculating of fuel consumption during both transporting and berthing. The simulation experiments show that the coordination proposed can reduce both the influence of disturbance and the fuel consumption.
