With the development of mobile technology,it produced great influence on people's lives,the contact of people becomes more and more increasingly dependent on mobile phones and the Internet,instant messaging software QQ,WeChat,Skype and other widely used,making calls the communication between people is becoming more and more expensive,and even to replace the use of text messages and phone calls.Especially in recent years,the rapid development of smart phones.It is increasingly becoming a part of people's lives.With a new generation of network and electronic technology development,the phone system updates more and more quickly,and the Android system because of its unique advantages in the emergence of just a few years time is to occupy half of the mobile phone market in.Because Android phones are now widely used,so the development of video calling software on the Android mobile platform is in line with the current trend.This paper is based on the development of video chat software based on Android mobile phone platform.The software not only can be more convenient to meet the social needs of people,but also can be more closer to the people from the visual.First,in-depth study of the H.264 video coding technology,comparing the parameter configuration to for the mobile platform provide more optimized video coding,and the analysis of the common image YUV format,know the structure of YUV format,image on mobile devices when rendering the image could be prepared for.Secondly,the demand analysis and design of multi person video chat system,including the overall functional requirements,performance requirements,functional requirements analysis and non functional requirements analysis.The design and implementation of the system are also carried out.In the process of system design,the system adopts the module design method,in the chapter of the final focus on talking about the implementation of multi person video calls and video rendering optimization.Finally,the multi video calls were tested,in function test is a prerequisite for successful test two kind of system to the CPU and GPU use rate,and made a comparison.The results showed that the mobile phone in all aspects of performance have significantly improved in the chapter finally made a summary and outlook.
