As an emerging and growing city in northeast China in the past 100 years,Changchun has a short but very dramatic history. For some historical reasons, people who once lived or are living in Changchun may have many historical discontinuities in their memories about this city, and some historical corners are being forgotten.Themed on seeking history behind city corners, this special program tracks the route of a news van followed by some Changchun residents comprising of the old,the middle-aged and the young generation. They travel through Liutiaobian,Nandaying, Mengjiatun Railway Station, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Manchukuo and Xinghuacun, through which Changchun’s history from emergence to growth is integrated. Based on specialized interpretation by cultural and historical experts as guests in the live broadcasting room, history behind these city corners can be sorted out from a cultural perspective. Several journalists will cover this event and conduct on-the-spot interviews at those coordinates in order to arouse memories of Changchun residents about this city through comparison between situations in the past and today.
